Gary Schindler, PT, DPT, PhD, OCS, SCS, ATC, CSCS., Associate Professor of Physical Therapy, BA in Athletic Training from the University of North Dakota in 1999: MS in Physical Therapy at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2001; Transitional Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy through Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professionals in 2010; and Doctorate in Philosophy in Teaching & Learning from the University of North Dakota. Gary was recognized as an Orthopaedic Certified Specialist through the ABPTS in 2008 and as a Sports Certified Specialist in 2015. He has advanced training in trigger point dry-needling and
manipulation and currently teaches in the areas of orthopaedics, manual therapy, exercise and intervention, sports medicine, anatomy, and therapeutic agents at UND. He is currently the program director of UND’s Sports PT Residency program. His areas of interest include sports medicine, orthopaedics, and anatomy. Gary currently resides in Grand Forks with his wife Sarah and is blessed with eight children and three grandchildren.
